Just got this app and havent used it for logging yet but very impressed with what you get for a buck! Just the tools alone are worth the price. Will be using it maritime soon and glad to have it.

I love this app. Seems Im mobile these days more than Id like, so heres my suggestion: Voice Recognition for the Phonetic alphabet. It would be helpful for logging while on the go. My call: W5MTB, using the voice feature on my iPhone, I would say "Whiskey Five Mike Tango Bravo". The app would type the Phonetic Equivalent into the call sign for any call sign. This could be extremely useful. Let me know what you think. 73, W5MTB

Not only does it do everything it is advertised but the developer is incredibly responsive.

HamLog has made my portable logging so much easier and saved me so much time from not having to transcribe paper logs. The live lookups are great (it amazes me where I can get a cell signal these days) and even when a data connection isnt available, it will pull information from old contacts if possible. I usually email myself a copy of the days log before I even leave the mountaintop!

Great app. Has many tools (over 65) that are very useful for ham radio at your finger tips. Updated regularly with new features. I use the log to store contacts while on travel. The contest app shows not only arrl but all contests for the week/year. Everything from call sign lookup to prop reports to grid square calculator.

Great app! Got away from the radio for a while & this app is a one stop shop thats got me going again.

This little app is my main logging program. It has an incredible amount of features. Great buy.

Its amazing how many features he packed into this app. This is not just a ham logging software, it does so much more. I love being able to sync contacts across my iPad, iPhone and Mac so seamlessly. I use HamLog at the home shack on my iPad and portable/mobile on my iPhone. Its a great logging app, but I use the other tools as much, or more than, the log. I love the cloudsync feature so that I can keep both of my devices up to date with the same contacts in each. Some features Id like to see added are the ability to set "favorite" tools so I dont have to scroll through the ones I dont use as often, and a "countries worked" tool so I can quickly access a text list of all the DX in my log (There is a "countries distribution" chart already, but I cant read the entire list of countries). Does everything a ham needs in terms of logging!

One of the best collections of tools for the amateur radio operator that I have seen. Well implemented o the iOS platform. Great to have them with me all the time. Its only limits are the result of having to use the iPhone input capabilities. I use the log while operating mobile as an alternative to trying to write things down, and load contacts to my "real" computer later. Thanks to the author for a fine app!

Odds are, this app will have what you need and if not, it will be added soon enough. The ability to quickly log and lookup on the iPhone is extremely convenient. These logs help me remember call signs and conversation topics. Start here for ham apps, easier on your wallet and your RAM.

Very useful app with a good amount of updates. Its my go to app on the go.

Used both with I-Pad (V2, IOS 6) and mostly with Iphone 5 (IOS 6) Use as my logging device when working HF radio in "FIFI" the worlds only flying B-29 Superfortress as well as in home & remote stations. HamLog is simple, fast and works well. The set of included tools is extensive. Customer service and updates has been outstanding. Author Nick also has a number of interesting helpful videos. There is a wireless rig control unit called the "Piglet" that I just ordered as it directly works with HamLog. Using HamLog, I should be able to build rig specific Macros for both CW & voice.
